It will give the university $1.65 million over five years as
part of the deal.
Earlier OMAFRA dumped its research stations at Alfred and
Kemptville, in Eastern Ontario, and at Ridgetown, which is between London and
Windsor, on the University of Guelph.
The University of Guelph then closed both of the stations in
Eastern Ontario.
