Chicken agency elects leaders

Benoit Fontaine of Stanbridge Station, Que., has been elected the new chairman of the Chicken Farmers of Canada national agency.

Derek Janzen of Adergrove, B.C., is first vice-chairman and Nick De Graaf of Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, is second vice-chairman.

Tim Klompmaker  of Norwood, Ont., founds out the executive committee.

Although Ontario is the largest chicken-producing province, it has been years since its director on the national agency has held a chairman position.
