Loblaws caught by U.S. recall

Loblaws is recalling No Name stuffed chicken breasts it bought from Barber Foods of Portland, Maine.

Barber is recalling 1.7 million pounds of frozen, raw stuffed chicken products because of Salmonella Enteriditis.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced the recall right after the United States Department of Agriculture issued its recall.

The chicken products were produced between February 17, 2015 and May 20, 2015.

The No Name recalls are for chicken parmesan, ham & cheese, garlic butter and broccoli & cheese stuffed chicken breasts.

The Canadian recall also applies to Barber Foods products, such as Cordon Swiss, broccoli & cheese and A La Kiev.
