PED hits Lambton farm

A farrow-to-finish hog farm in Lambton County has been hit by Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea virus.

It is the 80^th case in Ontario, but the first since April 15 and only the third since spring began.

The virus usually is a bigger threat during cold weather because it dies when it’s hot.
