Wyoming
has found avian influenza in a Canada goose.
It’s now
the 11th state to report a case of the highly pathogenic strain of
avian influenza.
Unlike the
other 10 states, this time there has apparently not been any loss of chickens
or turkeys.
British
Columbia was hit hard in December, losing a number of flocks of laying hens and
broilers.
