Chicken price to drop

Farm prices for chicken will decline for quota period A-129 which  begins Feb. 22 and runs to April 18,

The price will decline from $1.57.8 per live kilogram now to $1.55.6 for the basic bird that weighs between 2.15 an 2.45 kilograms.

Most other markets across Canada closely follow price changes in Ontario.
