Ukraine has filed a complaint with the World Trade
Organization over a ban Russia imposed this week on fruits and vegetables.
Russia says It suspects that fruits and vegetables from the
European Union were coming through Ukraine to Russia, skirting a different ban
Russia imposed weeks ago.
The Ukraine says Russia made to mention of its suspicions to
its government before it imposed the ban.
It sent about 80,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables to
Russia during the first nine months of this year and was expected to export
another $17 million worth before the end of the year.
